Accidentally Matching

Haven't been around the last couple of days. I was suddenly inspired to write on one of my fiction projects and it's been consuming most of my night computer time. My brother and I accidentally dressed in matching shirts today, showing off our appreciation for the Beatles:

We're going to the lake again this weekend, skiing and to the Bowman Fall Festival. Yay!

Resisting the urge to snip

My hair's reaching that obnoxious length where it's too long to just exist and too short to do anything with. This is always the part where I, in a late night moment of frustration, forget my goal of growing it out and go for the scissors. I will not snip...I will not snip...I will not snip...

Think I will change the color, though, I'm not really liking the dark reddish color. I want to go straight brown, mainly just cause that's about the one color I've never been. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. Love changing my hair color...I just get bored so quickly and I love how it makes me look different without really making me look different, if that makes sense. Anyway, finally going to bed now that it's almost 5am. ;)

Best weekend ever

Chillin' at the lake house. Took my dad and brother skiing, napped on the porch couch, played scrabble while having beers, watched lethal weapon 2, ate tons of ice cream...this is the life. :)

Corn Palace!

Some Vacation Pictures

So back in May I went on a two-week vacation out west with my dad and brother. We drove a long loop up to St. Louis, then over to the Dakotas, through Yellowstone and down into Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, then we drove like a bat out of you-know-where to get home from NM in the last 50 or so hours. Here are some of my favorites of the 12-odd thousand (no joke) pictures that I took those two weeks (unedited).

Sunset in Wall, SD, home of Wall Drug, which, based on the literally hundreds of signs on the interstates advertising it, must be South Dakota's only tourist attraction (besides the Corn Palace).
